Why this atlas exists
An inventory of work, not a catalogue of promises
Self Employed Tips organizes distinct deliverables across writing, design, systems, practical services, making and research. Its purpose is to make the obligations visible before someone spends money on a persuasive idea.
The directory is not a recruitment agency, professional adviser, licensing service or public authority. No listing has been sold placement, and an entry is not a recommendation of a particular platform, vendor or course.
What makes an entry distinct
We distinguish the output, operating process and risks rather than creating separate entries for every marketplace or cosmetic variation. A commissioned spreadsheet and a reusable spreadsheet product appear separately because scope, delivery and continuing support differ.
Editorial limits
Descriptions suggest sensible questions and refusal boundaries. They are not surveys of demand, audited business plans or exhaustive legal checklists. US primary sources provide context; people elsewhere must use their own regulators and tax authorities.
Updates and errors
Requirements can change after publication. Follow the linked issuing authority and verify the rule that actually applies before trading. Publication corrections can be sent to [email protected]. The directory does not provide individual advice or promise a response schedule.
